Position: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment throughout the RSC. You will actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow preventative maintenance schedules for equipment
2. Perform necessary repairs on equipment
3. Assist in ordering parts as required
4. Complete all daily inspections thoroughly and timely
5. Assist in all areas of the Maintenance Department
6. Adhere to all applicable safety standards
7. Maintain sanitation standards
8. Perform refrigeration duties as per local legislation (if applicable)
9. Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

1. Certificate in an applicable trade or Journeyman Certificate
2. High School Diploma
3. Minimum of one year experience in an industrial setting
4. Certified to operate mobile equipment
5. Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting (over 88 lbs), and reaching
6. Ability to stand and walk for long periods
7. Willingness to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
8. Experience in retail support centers is a plus
