Birchwood Volkswagen is seeking a Licensed Red Seal Technician to join our Fixed Operations team. You will maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, accurately estimate service times, and diagnose and complete repairs correctly the first time using industry-leading diagnostic tools.

Reporting Relationship:

This position reports directly to the Fixed Operations Manager.

Job Summary:

The Technician, Licensed Red Seal plays an integral role at Birchwood Volkswagen achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction after the purchase of a vehicle. The successful candidate is will have the ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge, to estimate time of service and repair needed, and to diagnose and complete the required work right the first time. Using industry-leading technology, the Technician, Licensed Red Seal will diagnose repairs required on a wide range of vehicles. The successful candidate will enjoy fair work dispatch according to skill, ensuring you make the most of your hours at work.

Qualifications

• Technician Level 4 and up are welcome to apply
• Ability to diagnose and problem solve independently
• Comfortable leveraging technology for most day to day repairs
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where optimal production is supported
• High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license & own transportation to and from work is required
