• 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• G2 gas and ODP certification required, with preference for Refrigeration 313 certification.

We are seeking a skilled and certified Technician/Installer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.

Title: Technician / Installer

Based at: Napoleon Home Comfort, 24 Napoleon Road, Barrie, Ontario

Hours of work: 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.

Job Purpose: Install and service Napoleon products at residential or commercial properties

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Install and service manufactured products using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprint, drawings, layouts, and other specifications
• Measure and layout reference points for installation
• Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
• Start up system, test for leaks, using testing devices
• Repair and replace parts and components for fireplace, air conditioner, ventilation or heat pump system
• Provide best customer service representing Napoleon
  
  

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma, or GED
• Three (3) years’ experience in related position
• Must have G2 gas and ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) certification
• Preference will be given to those possessing Valid Refrigeration 313 certification with recognized WETT training/certificate
• Proof of Fall Arrest training or Working at Heights certification is required
• Must have valid G class driver’s license, with clean abstract
