Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Beaumont, TX is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment at a shop, with some field work as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong diagnostics, and the ability to maintain records and ensure safety standards. The position offers a weekly pay cycle, overtime eligibility, and a range of employee benefits including uniforms, free rental of Sunstate equipment, safety glasses, and holiday/vacation provisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a diesel mechanic, with construction equipment rental background preferred.
• Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $5,000+ in value.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
• Team-player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals.

Hiring Immediately Pay dependent on Experience; PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus

Location: This role will be based in our shop in Beaumont, TX with the occasional need to maintenance or repair equipment in the field.
