The Technician II - Service will be responsible for servicing electronic security systems from leading manufacturers such as Lenel, Genetec, Axis, Milestone, and Avigilon.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service and maintain integrated security systems including access control, CCTV, and alarms.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software of integrated systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturers’ technical support teams to resolve system issues.
• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Train customers on proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries.
• Complete detailed paperwork and assist with as-built documentation.
• Adhere to Paladin’s Quality and Safety program.
• Be prompt, enthusiastic, take direction from the service team and operations.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Build confidence with clients and stakeholders, enhancing the organization's reputation.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• Work night shifts as needed based on project/service requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Service Technician in security, electronics, telecommunications, or IT industries.
• Proven experience with complex physical security systems such as Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Milestone, etc.
• Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent.
• Experience with IP networks, low voltage electronics, power and communications, Access Control, CCTV (IP and Analog), Intrusion Systems, Client-Server security applications is an asset.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong command of English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of productivity and profitability.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to pass security clearance levels.
• Availability for out-of-town work on an ad hoc basis.
• Personal hand tools required.
