Job summary

Sunnybrook is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to prepare and package sterile instrumentation, operate decontamination and sterilization equipment, and manage case carts for regular and emergency surgeries. The role requires strong organization and teamwork in a fast-paced OR environment.

Candidates should hold an Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and have instrumentation experience, with MDRC knowledge prioritized.

Qualifications

• Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate required.
• Instrumentation experience essential.
• Previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC is essential.
• Applicants with previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC will be given priority.
• Broad knowledge of all surgical services and complex instrumentation.
• O.R. technical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to function as a team member as well as independently.
• Ability to work and problem solve in a fast-paced environment; Proficient in case cart preparation.
• Competent computer skills.
