Description
The ECS LDAR Technician conducts air monitoring and emissions measurement activities, performs equipment calibrations and maintenance, and collects and organizes field data for air quality compliance and emissions assessment programs.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards, practices, and legal regulations, and by alerting others to potential hazards.
- Performs all assigned duties and adheres to TEAM's Core Values.
- Performs EPA Method 21 hydrocarbon leak detection using portable gas analyzers and electronic data collectors.
- Performs analyzer certification, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal testing equipment operation.
- Completes all activities for assigned monitoring routes within company policies and procedures, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and accurate reporting.
- Identifies leaks according to regulations, attaches leak component tags, and reports findings.
- Performs visual assessments for hydrocarbons leaks and reports equipment with open-ended lines.
- Maintains LDAR component identification system, records changes, and updates inventory.
- Provides daily ECS reports and communicates with site personnel and management regarding equipment changes.
- Communicates with plant personnel as directed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: One or more years of experience in an industrial or plant environment.
- Travel requirements: 0%-25%.
Work Conditions
- Position based out of a branch or site location.
- Field duties involve indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
- Interaction with crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
- Work around production machinery with high noise levels.
- Must wear safety equipment as required.
- May work at multiple sites in a day and tolerate climate changes.
- Periodic out-of-town travel may be required.
