Role and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
  • Create and maintain accurate tech packs, including grade rules, construction details, and material specifications.
  • Conduct fit sessions, analyze prototypes, and provide feedback for optimal fit, function, and aesthetics.
  • Coordinate with vendors to meet design and quality standards.
  • Manage wearer trials and resolve technical issues during production and fitting phases.
  • Ensure timely communication with vendors and coordinate model bookings for fittings.
  • Follow up on technical queries to ensure resolutions and track production approvals to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain WIP reports and stay updated on industry trends to enhance design and manufacturing processes.
  • Report product or delivery issues to the Director of Design & PD.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Apparel Design/Production.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in technical fit, pattern making, and construction of apparel, hats, or accessories.
  • Experience with high-quality branded apparel and accessories.
  • Experience working with PLM systems is an asset.
  • Travel and hands-on experience with offshore manufacturing and domestic production.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
