Qualifications

Job description

Do you have Experience within the Truss Manufacturing or Building Materials Industry? If you have the qualifications below, come work for an industry leader that has been around for over 30 years!

Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Sets up equipment in accordance with the company procedures and standards.
  • Works with a variety of equipment.
  • Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials received (cut pieces) and the condition of all equipment; and reports any problems to the Supervisor.
  • Completes work order paperwork related to the completion of each work order.
  • Maintains a clean workstation throughout the shift, free of debris, and especially cleaning up shortly before the end of shift.
  • Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed.
Knowledge

  • Able to use hammer & read tape measure in the foot-inch-sixteenth method.
  • Work with multiple industry related pieces of equipment.
  • Able to read & understand work orders.
  • Verbal and written language proficiency.
  • Working cooperatively and supportive as a member of a team.
  • Manufacturing industry knowledge especially related to wood and building manufacturing.
  • Able to visit work sites / design stairs / computer literate.
