As a 310T Technician, you’ll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Perform maintenance & repairs – Service diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose & troubleshoot issues – Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Conduct inspections – Identify potential issues before they lead to costly repairs.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines – Use service manuals and technical data for accurate repairs.
- Communicate with customers – Explain necessary repairs and recommendations.
- Work efficiently – Meet deadlines to minimize downtime for customers.
- Stay current on training – Participate in company-sponsored and dealer-specific training courses.
- Maintain a safe & organized workspace – Follow safety protocols and best practices.
What You Bring (Requirements & Qualifications)
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician License (Required)
- 1–3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician (or equivalent industry experience)
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must have necessary hand tools
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus Qualifications (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with medium & heavy-duty trucks
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment
- Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete)
Compensation and Benefits
- Earn up to $45.00 per hour
- Up to $5,000 signing bonus for qualified technicians (based on experience)
