Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in the Repair Engineering Department, working at the forefront of Aero Derivative Gas Turbine technology? We’re on the lookout for an analytical, detail-oriented professional with a knack for technical writing, research, and document development. If you have 3–5 years of job-related experience, a sharp engineering mindset, and the ability to read technical drawings, assess inspection methods, and refine repair techniques, this opportunity is for you!


What you’ll be doing:

  1. Crafting and refining manuals, repair books, and technical documentation
  2. Conducting in-depth research to support engineering processes
  3. Collaborating with teams to author and edit critical technical documents

What you bring:

  • Engineering experience and familiarity with Gas Turbines
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply inspection methods
  • Expertise in repair techniques that enhance performance and longevity
  • French-English bilingual skills (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Authoring and verification of R&O documents for Gas Turbines: Repair Scheme, Parts Cleaning and Inspection (PCI), Special Inspection Procedure (SIP), Engine Management Program (EMP).
  • Deliverables: Technical Documentation R&O activities: Cleaning, Inspection and Repair
  • Skills and Abilities: Software: Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, MS Access, Sales Force, SharePoint, OneDrive, PLM2020, Globus
  • The candidate must have knowledge or past experience on MRO activities for Gas Turbines (3-5 years) Knowledge of gas turbine components, drawings and engine operation.
  • Knowledge of Cleaning, Inspection and Repair techniques and procedures.
  • Specific Deliverables: To conduct technical authoring and review of MR&O documentation for Gas Turbines, such as, but not limited to: Repair Scheme, PCI, SIP, EMP.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 3-5 years of job-related experience is preferred
  • Must include: (1) Engineering experience, (2) Gas Turbines (3) Ability to read drawings (4) Experience with Inspection Methods and (5) Repair Techniques.
