Position Title: Technical Writer
Reports To: Manager, Operational Planning, Support and Communications
Department: Individual Wealth
Term: Permanent Full-Tim
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

As a Technical Writer, you will ensure Equitable’s most complex information in our contracts, statements, illustrations outputs and other technical documentation is accessible and understandable to clients. You are a key member of the Client Communications team. You’re a strong communicator who transforms complex technical details into engaging and accessible content. You have a knack for taking intricate information and making it understandable and relatable to a broad audience. Your ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with subject matter experts ensures that our documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly. Your work not only informs but empowers our clients, helping them make informed decisions about their life and critical illness insurance options.
