Job Summary
This Technical Writer will be IPG Photonics Canada Inc.’s knowledge management expert. This role is responsible for conducting a wide range of documentation activities for the hardware and software components of our beam delivery and quality monitoring solutions. The successful candidate will have accountability in an extremely fast-paced environment working closely with product design, software and applications engineers to bring high-technology products to market. In addition, the candidate will use their writing skills to help fulfill technical and financial reporting requirements ( SR&ED). This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology (literally) and directly support the company's strategic direction for servicing e-mobility, commercial spaceflight and other advanced manufacturing challenges.

About you
Strong preference will be given to candidates with a background in engineering or physics or industrial automation with experience in copywriting, communications or creative writing. Candidates with great communication skills and experience in technical knowledge management systems will also be considered.
