Key responsibilities include:

  • Research, write, and QC technical data for Aircraft Maintenance Manual/Publications, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards.
  • Identify and implement process and product improvements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Plan, perform, and document procedural validations, optimizing resource use.
  • Address customer and operator requests and issues satisfactorily.
  • Coordinate publication planning and define standards for documentation and electronic distribution formats (e.g., ATA, SAP).
  • Assess risks and develop action plans to ensure timely publication completion.
How to thrive in this role?
  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in aerospace or a related field, or have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in Technical Publications.
  • Background in aircraft maintenance, IPC/IPDP, or Parts Logistics is an asset.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP (asset).
  • Understanding of Technical Publications processes and technologies (asset).
  • Basic knowledge of S1000D and ATA specifications (asset).
  • Experience with HTML, SGML, and XML authoring languages (asset).
  • Experience in product development and troubleshooting methodologies in high-tech environments (assets).
  • Knowledge of Bombardier Customer Services and Support (asset).
  • Pilot experience (asset).
  • Understanding of design procedures and Bombardier Aerospace Engineering System (asset).
