Technical Test Lead - CAN

Infosys is seeking a Test Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation for all testing types, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga/ Toronto, ON or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visas are welcome to apply. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and SQL.
• Overall 5+ years of experience in Test Automation, capable of guiding offshore teams.
• 2+ years of proven hands-on experience with Playwright, Karate API, and UI Automation.
• Experience with tools like Cucumber, TestNG, IntelliJ, GitHub, and Eclipse.
• Knowledge of working in a CI/CD pipeline environment.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology, with experience in Jira, designing test cases, executing tests, and documenting defects.
• Maintaining automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Designing and building test automation frameworks.
• At least 4 years of experience leading testing teams and owning deliverables.
• Experience delivering tests in an onsite-offshore model.
• Creating automation test strategies and plans.
• Coordinating with stakeholders and supporting UAT testing.
• Good knowledge of the Financial Services domain and business processes.
• Experience in Automation Testing (SIT and UAT), test execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Understanding of UI/backend test automation concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Skills in test strategizing, planning, and coordination.
• Translating user requirements into testing requirements.
• Ability to work in a team and client-facing environment.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is required. Extensive travel may be necessary based on client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in Ontario: $82,804 to $115,491.
