Introduction:

We are seeking a talented individual to join a team of self-driven technical specialists who are developing unique solutions to maximize the success of our customer’s business.

As the on-site Metso expert, the Technical Support Representative (TSR) will work directly with their customers to develop an operating game-plan, establishing a win-win relationship and becoming a trusted partner.

This role is located at a customer site near Kamloops and will be based in their operation.

What you’ll do:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding horizontal grinding mills, including technical issues, troubleshooting, and product functionality.
• Provide expert guidance on installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of grinding mills.
• Address product-related concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to horizontal grinding mills with the support of Metso technical support team.
• Collaborate with Metso’s engineering and service teams to provide solutions for complex problems
• Offer guidance on preventive maintenance schedules and best practices to maximize machine uptime.
• Coordinating customer satisfaction program (NPS) activities
• Keeping up-to-date with developments, trends, and advancements related to Metso and Industry technology.
• Undertaking administrative tasks

Who you are:

• 5-10 years’ experience in mining preferably with specific experience in grinding mills and/or related products
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostics in grinding applications
• Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, problem-solving skills required.
• Experience working in a customer-based and service-oriented environment.
• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with the broad range of Metso equipment and wear products would be an asset.
