Technical Support Agent
30 positions) for provincial government agency client, Scarborough and North York contact centres.
Job Type : Temporary.
Initial Term : February 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025
Compensation : $29.94 per hour
Regular Work Hours : 7.25 hours per day not including 1 hour unpaid lunch break, to be worked during regular business hours, Monday to Friday (36.25 work hours per week), with occasional, additional paid hours as needed.
Work Locations : 100% onsite at either client's Scarborough or North York locations, as needed, both with free parking provided. You must be flexible to work out of either location according to business requirements.
Ergonomic Requirements : In addition to regular desk work, the position will occasionally require the ability to safely lift up to 45 lbs., as well as bending, crouching, overhead lifting, extended standing, walking across floors and between buildings, and other ergonomic activities associated with setting up workstations and equipment.
Onsite Dress Code : Business Casual or according to client business requirements.

Responsibilities Summary :
In a Technical Support Contact Centre environment, will provide technical support services to head and field staff offices, including system configuration and troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
Qualifications :
Education : Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in computer engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Work Experience : At least 3+ years of progressive experience in technical support, computer system configuration support and troubleshooting, both for hardware and software.
