Key Responsibilities
Project/Customer Engagement
- Target new and existing customers to build a strong network of industry contacts and actively promote and sell the full range of Rock Reinforcement, Injection, and Ground Control support products.
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers through understanding technical requirements via early engagement, meetings, and technical sessions with operators, contractors, and designers.
- Identify support requirements and collaborate with the broader Normet team and industry partners to provide leading solutions.
- Be responsible and proactive on-site with testing and demonstrating solutions.
- Engage with the technical team to provide feedback, develop technical solutions, and enhance the company's technical competence globally. Assist with day-to-day operations such as warehousing, R&D, and tool maintenance.
- Ensure ongoing sales with existing customers and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Support the company's HSEQ initiatives.
- Travel nationally and internationally for training and project activities.
Marketing and Brand Promotion
- Conduct presentations and sessions to educate site engineers, contractors, and stakeholders about Normet’s offerings.
- Provide training for internal teams and external customers.
- Monitor market and competitor activities and report findings.
- Manage marketing campaigns to strengthen the Normet brand in this sector.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with Ground Control Products (Rock Bolts, Cables, etc.) and Injection products (Consolidation, Water Management, Fill).
- Knowledge of concrete, shotcrete, and other cementitious materials is advantageous.
- Experience in detailed report writing.
- Higher technical education such as a civil engineering or mining degree (BSc/BEng).
- Based in the Sudbury area.

Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Ground Control and Injection products.
- Knowledge of cementitious materials is an asset.
- Experience in report writing.
- Recent graduate with a technical degree such as civil engineering or mining.
- Based in the Sudbury area.
