Qualifications

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Military experience, Associate’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience, or 4 years in a customer-facing role
  • Strong enthusiasm for networking and relationship-building, maintaining high ethical standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and relate comfortably with diverse groups
  • A desire to pursue a career in a performance-based, commission-driven environment, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for asking insightful questions
  • Eagerness to learn and experiment to find optimal solutions

Salary: $45,000 base + $5,000 geographic allowance + weekly commissions + quarterly and annual performance bonuses + cell phone allowance

This role is 100% onsite at our downtown Toronto office, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

This position begins with comprehensive hands-on training as a Recruiter Trainee, working with an Onboarding Coach to learn recruiting fundamentals. After successful completion, you will transition into a Recruiter role with responsibilities including:

  • Recruiting top IT consultants and managing the entire recruitment cycle to ensure a superior candidate experience
  • Building and maintaining relationships with consultants, providing career coaching on market trends, labor rates, resumes, interview techniques, and emerging skills
  • Developing sourcing strategies using various tools and technologies, including AI, to identify the best talent for client needs
  • Utilizing AI-generated insights for data-driven recruitment decisions
  • Advising account managers and clients on skill availability, labor rates, location decisions, and timelines
  • Negotiating compensation packages to attract suitable candidates
  • Demonstrating expertise in the relevant skill, industry, or role specialization
