Qualifications

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associate’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role
• Enthusiasm for networking and building strong relationships while maintaining high ethical standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team and relate comfortably with diverse groups of people
• A desire to pursue a career in a performance-based, commission-driven environment requiring quick identification and pursuit of new opportunities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including asking insightful questions
• Strong eagerness to learn and experiment to find optimal solutions

Salary: $45,000 base salary + $15K geographic allowance + weekly commissions + performance bonuses (quarterly and annually) + cell phone allowance

Location: This role is 100% onsite at our Calgary downtown office, Monday-Friday. This is *not* a remote position.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

This role begins with comprehensive hands-on training as a Recruiter Trainee. You will work with an Onboarding Coach to learn recruiting fundamentals. After successful training completion, you will transition into a Recruiter role with the following responsibilities:

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main contact throughout the recruitment cycle, ensuring a world-class experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, providing career coaching on market trends, labor rates, resume building, interview techniques, and emerging skills.
• Develop sourcing strategies using various tools and technologies, including in-house AI tools, to identify the best talent for client needs.
• Utilize AI-generated insights for data-driven decision-making in recruitment.
• Advise account managers and clients on skill availability, labor rates, hiring locations, and timelines based on market expertise.
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract suitable candidates.
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge in relevant skill, industry, or role areas.
