Responsibilities

Essential Functions :

This position begins with extensive hands-on training where you will serve as a Recruiter Trainee. Working with an Onboarding Coach, you will learn and perform recruiting fundamentals. After successful completion, you will transition into a Recruiter role, responsible for:

  • Recruiting top IT consultants and serving as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting cycle, ensuring a world-class experience.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with consultants by providing career coaching on market trends, labor rates, resume creation, interviewing techniques, and emerging skills.
  • Developing effective sourcing strategies using various tools and technologies, including in-house AI tools, to identify the best talent for client needs.
  • Using AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions during recruitment.
  • Advising account managers and clients on skill availability, labor rates, hiring locations, and timelines for onboarding talent.
  • Negotiating compensation packages to attract candidates.
  • Demonstrating specialized knowledge within relevant skill, industry, or role areas.

Qualifications

Educational & Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Diploma plus at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years in a customer-facing role.
  • Enthusiasm for networking and building relationships while maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Ability to work in a team and relate comfortably with diverse groups.
  • A desire to pursue a career in a performance-based, commission-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willingness to learn and experiment to find optimal solutions.

This position is 100% on-site, Monday to Friday, in Burnaby.

Salary : $45,000 + $20K Geographic Allowance + weekly commission + bonuses + cell phone allowance.
