Job summary

Cuisinesaction is seeking a Technical Specialist to join the Corporate team in Quebec. The role serves as a reference for several teams, contributes to standardization and to evolving technical solutions, and helps develop skills within the organization.

You will analyze requests, propose tailored solutions, ensure traceability, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver rigorous, compliant outcomes across cabinetry projects.

Qualifications

• DEC in design or equivalent training (an asset).
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Good knowledge of the construction and cabinetry industries.
• Excellent command of French and functional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as a specialist supporting multiple departments within the company.
• Take ownership of, analyze and process technical requests, including requests for products outside the standard collection and those related to integrations, by clarifying needs, monitoring progress and ensuring follow-up, while proposing effective, structured solutions aligned with company standards.
• Apply sound technical judgment when processing requests by identifying and addressing issues with the appropriate stakeholders, and referring complex or non-standard situations to the relevant managers for approval.
• Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in researching and implementing solutions, while ensuring that technical requests are handled rigorously, methodically and efficiently.
• Ensure request traceability and collaborate with various stakeholders to structure information, foster a shared understanding of issues, support follow-up and contribute to achieving objectives.
• Contribute to the advancement of technical practices and solutions by identifying opportunities for improvement, standardization or innovation based on the requests processed.
• Identify training needs, contribute to skills development and provide findings or recommendations regarding observed gaps, in collaboration with the relevant teams.
• Ensure that plans and specifications comply with production standards, applicable standards within the cabinetry industry and company requirements, in order to guarantee feasible and compliant solutions.
• Monitor the use of tools and practices, including design software such as Cabinet Vision, to ensure they are used properly and efficiently, in alignment with production capabilities and corporate guidelines, and support users in adopting best practices.
• Perform any other duties directly related to the position.
