Provides electronic installation and maintenance services on complex systems and equipment essential to the provision of a safe and reliable Air Navigation System (ANS). Performs related duties for the designated area of responsibility.

Overview

Join a team of technologists who work with leading-edge Air Navigation Service (ANS) technology. You’ll make a difference in air navigation safety. Our skilled Technologists work daily with some of the most advanced equipment and systems in the world.

Technologists install, support, and maintain critical systems required to keep air traffic moving safely and efficiently. It takes a team effort across Canada to keep navigation, surveillance, communications, and air traffic management systems operational under all conditions.

Basic Requirements
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent and a recognized diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Sciences, Electronics Engineering Technology, or an equivalent program, completed within the last 10 years.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Some heavy lifting required.
  • Ability to work comfortably at various heights.
  • Shift work required.

The role does not require previous aviation sector experience.

Additional Information

Training salary ranges from approximately $54,864 to $88,499, based on qualifications and experience. Upon successful completion of training, salary increases to $85,967 to $117,325 with experience and classification levels. Travel is required.
