This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with customers, and expanding their expertise across advanced technologies while making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and product reliability.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO:

Serve as a primary technical contact for customer issues, providing remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for supported CPI products.

Own assigned technical issues from initial assessment through successful resolution, maintaining clear and proactive customer communication throughout the process.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Service Operations to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Document customer issues, technical findings, and resolutions to strengthen organizational knowledge and improve future support effectiveness.

Perform product commissioning, system integration, on‑site troubleshooting, repair, and customer training at customer locations.

Support factory and customer acceptance activities and field implementation to ensure successful product deployment.

Verify equipment performance following commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable product requirements.

Travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations, strategic accounts, and technical escalations.

Perform product evaluations, failure investigations, and root‑cause analysis in collaboration with Engineering and Quality.

Provide field and customer feedback to support improvements in product reliability, serviceability, documentation, and future product development.

Maintain technical proficiency in relevant electronic systems, diagnostic techniques, test equipment, safety practices, and supported CPI products.

Develop and improve troubleshooting guides, service procedures, technical documentation, knowledge‑base content, and customer training materials.

Develop expertise in assigned products while progressively building competency across both Amplifier and Generator product lines through structured cross‑training and hands‑on experience.

Share technical knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices across the Technical Services team to improve consistency and support coverage.

Identify recurring customer and product issues and recommend improvements to technical support processes, tools, training, and service delivery.

Contribute to a flexible, high‑performing Technical Services team capable of supporting customers remotely and in the field throughout the product lifecycle.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

A diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technician, or a related technical discipline. An equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience will be considered.

A minimum of 3–5 years of experience supporting complex electronic, electrical, RF, power‑electronic, industrial, medical, aerospace/defense, or other highly engineered products.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems using technical documentation, schematics, diagnostic tools, and test equipment.

Experience with RF/microwave equipment, high‑power amplifiers, high‑voltage systems, power electronics, X‑ray generators, medical imaging equipment, or related technologies is preferred.

Experience with remote technical support, product commissioning, field troubleshooting, customer training, and/or equipment repair is preferred.

Experience performing failure investigations, root‑cause analysis, and supporting corrective‑action activities is preferred.

Experience working in a regulated or highly engineered environment, such as aerospace and defense, communications, medical equipment, industrial electronics, or scientific instrumentation, is preferred.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to take ownership of technical issues and follow them through to final resolution.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with customers and cross‑functional teams.

Comfortable providing remote technical support and working hands‑on with sophisticated equipment at customer locations.
