Job summary

CBM Ready-Mix, part of Votorantim Cimentos North America (VCNA), seeks a Technical Services Representative (Student) based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The role runs from May to December 2026, supporting field testing on job sites and data collection for quality control of concrete and raw materials.

The successful candidate will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technician program, comfortable with basic software, and able to perform physical outdoor tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CET program or similar.
• Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel).
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors.
• Construction field experience would be an asset.
• Valid G2 or G Driver's license and ability to drive a company pickup truck.
• 3-year driving abstract.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to perform CSA & ASTM concrete and raw materials testing; record data and apply quality control procedures.
• Promote value-added products and collect market and site information.
• Supervise and plan efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Recommend modifications to quality or production standards or procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is for Students available between May - December 2026.

• Promotes value added products, collects market and job information
• Supervises and plan for efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards or procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
