Technical Service Representative (TSR) - Commercial Lines

About the Role

1. Verify information on New Business applications to ensure risk fits internal guidelines.
2. Upload New Business and Endorsements to insurance carrier portals.
3. Prepare and mail out client letters for New Business and Endorsements.
4. Contact help lines for company portals where issues arise and where premium discrepancies exist.
5. Daily EDI download and post automatic invoicing.

Requirements

1. A willingness to learn and excited about the opportunity to build a career in general insurance. Training will be provided!
2. Enrollment in an accredited College or University insurance education program would be a benefit but not a prerequisite.
3. 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR/TSR is preferred, but not required.
4. Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
5. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
6. Knowledge of Power Broker and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) would be considered an asset but not a requirement.
