Technical Sales Specialist - Survey Equipment & Construction Solutions (Bilingual)

We seek someone passionate about Building Construction who can bring enthusiasm to this consultative role. You will be the main contact for our customers, providing tailored solutions to enhance their workflow. Your focus will be on promoting the shift from manual processes to our technology to boost productivity.

You should be comfortable on construction sites and able to communicate with various stakeholders. We need an influencer who can demonstrate the value of our solutions through their technical expertise.

No sales experience? No problem! If you have experience in Building Construction (extra points if you've used Trimble) and the right attitude, we can teach the sales skills!

The territory covers Montreal. You will need to be on the road at least one week per month.

In this role, you will...

  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities in the Construction industry by identifying customer needs, following market trends, and discovering leads
  • Maintain existing customer relationships through regular contact and development
  • Understand, position, and sell the full portfolio of our offerings
  • Identify and execute business development opportunities within your sales territory
  • Build strong relationships with clients at various organizational levels
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop strategic sales plans and meet objectives
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and related events as required
  • Report activity and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager

  • Experience in Building Construction and Virtual Design and Construction processes
  • Effective communication skills for selling value

  • Skilled in presentation and negotiation
  • Ability to provide high-level, creative solutions
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Construction site layout, Laser Scanning, and VDC/BIM experience is a plus
  • CAD or other VDC/BIM experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Trimble Field technology solutions is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
