Role Summary

A Technical Sales Specialist for Industrial Reliability Solutions bridges technical knowledge and sales expertise, conveying the value of products, services, or solutions to potential customers. They influence industrial clients by understanding their needs, tailoring solutions, and providing expert guidance to drive business growth by translating technical capabilities into customer-centric solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-sales consultative support, address technical inquiries, conduct product demonstrations, and guide clients to suitable solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations; understand business objectives and provide ongoing support and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to educate clients on the positive impacts of products, services, and solutions on operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems.
  • Play a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing to revenue growth.
  • Influence market penetration strategies and bring technical insights that drive sales growth within the industry.
  • Provide pre-sale technical assistance and product education, and provide after-sales support as required.
  • Assist with the development of sales aids and promotional materials for new sales solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive and informative presentations to clients, articulating the technical aspects, benefits, implementation process, and integration requirements of our products and solutions.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals through customer-focused engagement strategies.
  • Brainstorm and write original content to entice, engage, and convert current and prospective clients.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
  • College Diploma in Engineering Technologies or Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • CRM software (intermediate).
  • Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate).
  • Social media platforms (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of industrial reliability products and services.
  • Knowledge of heavy industry market in Eastern Canada.
  • Minimum 3 years' industrial sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and reliability engineering.
  • CMRP certification or willingness to obtain it.
Location

Saint John, NB or Mount Pearl, NL; travel required. Hybrid, possibility of occasional telework.
