A Technical Sales Specialist for Industrial Reliability Solutions, bridges technical knowledge and sales expertise, proficiently conveying the value of products, services, or solutions to potential customers. They exert significant influence with industrial clients by understanding their needs, tailoring solutions, and providing expert guidance. They drive business growth by effectively translating technical capabilities into customer-centric solutions.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Leverage understanding of industrial reliability and industrial processes to influence a market penetration strategy.
  • Elevate the technical acumen of the sales team by providing comprehensive product, service and solution knowledge. This includes educating team members on the technical aspects of our offerings, enabling them to better communicate value to clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to educate clients on the positive impacts that our products, services and solutions can have on their operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify pain points, challenges, and efficiency goals of clients. Translate these insights into tailored solutions that address client-specific needs.
  • Offer expertise in precision maintenance services such as alignment, balancing, transmissions, and bearings, along with shutdown support.
  • Promote and explain the benefits of oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasound services, including data collection, analysis, and corrective management.
  • Advise on greasing techniques, hardware installation support, data collection, re-greasing calculations, and CMMS route implementation.
  • Demonstrate our offering in developing comprehensive preventive maintenance programs (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) and implementing routes in CMMS.
  • Promote our expertise in Reliability Solutions such as the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation), criticality assessment, master data management, planning and scheduling, instrumentation calibration, and reliability engineering projects including KPI setup and FMECA / RCM.
  • Help clients manage Industry 4.0 projects, root cause and breakdown analysis, reliability audits, business case development, MRO projects focusing on critical parts analysis, and comprehensive project management with our world-class solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales consultative support, addressing technical inquiries, conducting product demonstrations, and guiding clients to suitable solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations. Understand their business objectives and provide ongoing support and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to educate clients about the positive impacts of our products, services and solutions on their operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems.
  • Play a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing significantly to revenue growth.
  • Influence market penetration strategies and bring technical insights that drive sales growth within the industry.
  • Provide pre-sale technical assistance and product education, and then provide after-sales support services as required
  • Assist with the development of sales aids and promotional materials for new sales solutions
  • Deliver persuasive and informative presentations to clients, clearly articulating the technical aspects of our products and solutions, including their benefits, implementation process, and integration requirements.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals through the use of customer-focused engagement strategies.
  • Brainstorm and write original content to entice, engage, and convert current and prospective clients.

Essential Skills And Qualifications To Be Successful

  • College Diploma in Engineering Technologies or Bachelors of Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software (Intermediate)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
  • Social Media Platforms (Intermediate)
  • Knowledge of industrial reliability products and services
  • Knowledge of heavy industry market in Eastern Canada
  • Minimum 3 years' industrial sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and reliability engineering.
  • CMRP certification or willingness to obtain it.

LOCATION : Saint John, NB or Mount Pearl, NL, travel required. Hybrid, possibility of occasional telework
