POSITION: TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are currently seeking an additional Technical Sales Representative to join our Vancouver Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with current and identifying future clients, assessing project specs, creating quotes, and ensuring project details are properly documented for submission to the Operations team for processing into orders. You will also provide direct oversight throughout a project to ensure it remains on target, budget, and fulfills the customers’ expectations.

The ideal candidate will generate demand, interest, and excitement for NASECO product lines and related services while creating a steady pipeline of business. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• A University or College education in marketing, or a technical stream is an asset.
• Experience in capital projects sales and oversight.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be enthusiastic and enjoy working with customers.
• Self-motivated and self-directed in building long sales pipelines.
• A driver’s license and personal mode of transport.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software including TEAMS, Excel, and Outlook.
• ERP software familiarity is an asset.
• Flexibility to manage various tasks in various stages of completion.
• Attention to detail and enthusiasm to drive issue resolution.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS OR ASSETS:

• Pallet Racking system design, sales, installation experience
• Sales training
• Experience in Technical based product sales

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update weekly reports with existing projects as well as prospected opportunities.
• Execute and assist in driving sales and acquiring new leads and accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Proactively follow up with clients to ensure needs are met.
• Determine customer/contract needs to recommend the most appropriate solution(s) in a professional and timely manner.
• Identify products and services to best suit customer needs.
• Connect and build trust with customers to develop strong, long-lasting relationships.
• Help build a positive, diverse, and equitable work environment with other associates who are also a part of our fast-growing team.
• Always deliver a strong and positive customer experience.
• Participate in training on product lines to become a resource for our clients.
