Technical Sales Representative

Technical Sales Rep - Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas

Our client, a major distributor of bearings, power transmission products, engineered fluid power components and systems, and other industrial supplies, is looking for a Technical Sales Rep for Kitchener and surrounding.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar industry with B2B sales.

Advantages

1. Base salary $65-70K plus commissions

Responsibilities

1. Prospect and develop new business - focus on clients in multiple segments including: manufacturing, OEMs, Food & beverage, Power generation, Construction, etc.
2. Attain revenue targets
3. Continue to foster existing clientele and expand the sales relationships
4. Participate in training sessions, tradeshows, branch and sales meetings
5. Work with and support the rest of the company team
6. Execute large projects
7. Build a sustainable and thriving business

Qualifications

1. Post secondary education - diploma/ degree - Engineering degree an asset
2. B2B Industrial sales experience
3. Strong understanding of distribution channel
4. Technical product aptitude, similar product selling experience
5. CRM/ MS Office
