Clients: HVAC Contractors, Engineers and Distributors.
Prospection: 75% to start, less if you already have a relevant network.
Base salary: 100 000$ @ 130 000$ + commissions (OTE= 30K)
RRSP: Yes, with employer matching.

Our client is a growing manufacturer of high-quality HVAC and mechanical systems serving the commercial, institutional, and industrial building sectors. Their products are trusted across Canada and gaining ground in the GTA thanks to our focus on performance and service. We need a representative that'S self-strated, know the market, know how to get insight on projects to come and get to the contractors that have won the jobs.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to expand our client's presence in the GTA. You will be responsible for promoting our mechanical system solutions directly to mechanical contractors, specify your products to engineering firms and collaborate and support your local distributors.The ideal candidate understands the contracting process and has strong connections within the local construction ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, project managers, buyers and president.
Identify and pursue project opportunities in the GTA commercial and institutional markets in collaboration with your distributors in the area.
Present technical solutions and assist with product selection based on project needs.
Track project bids and follow up throughout the sales cycle.
Hold lunch and learn with engineering firms to get your products scpecified.
Provide post-sale support and coordination with internal technical teams
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Qualifications
Experience in technical sales in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical system sales (Nice to have if you have manufacturer's experience)
Familiarity with the construction process and contractor networks in the GTA
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable with technical discussions and solution selling.
Self-driven, organized, and customer-focused.
Strong excel and powerpoint knowledge.
