Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales for engineering students in Canada. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and application of HVAC systems, and gain exposure to building automation and service offerings.

This internship serves as a pathway to our Graduate Training Program after graduation. Open to all engineering disciplines, you must be enrolled, have the right to work in Canada, and be prepared to travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree in Engineering
• Completed at least sophomore year before start of the internship
• Open to all engineering emphases; legal right to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers
• Understand the design, application and sale of HVAC systems and building controls
• Attend sales meetings and field visits with mentors
• Gain hands-on exposure to the steps of sales engineering during the internship
