What is Pontosense?

Pontosense builds wireless sensors that measure really small movements (as small as a heartbeat) using radar technology. We have the most accurate sensor on the market, by a factor of 10,000x. We’re not just a little better – we’re 10,000x better. This means that we can see things more clearly and can analyze and catch issues quicker. Today, we serve many markets, but around the same use case: saving lives.

We have founders with over 500 patents; prior to Pontosense, we built companies worth a total of $5B. Our companies make your iPhone, Starlink, Meta VR sets, and other technologies. What problem will you solve?

Preventable incidents impact lives every day—whether it's a fall at home or a safety risk on the road. Traditional solutions like wearables and cameras often fall short, lacking accuracy or ease of use. Our RADAR technology, with 10,000x the precision of existing products, is transforming industries by providing seamless, non-intrusive monitoring that enhances safety and protection.

As our Technical Sales Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing this groundbreaking technology to the forefront of the automotive and AgeTech markets. By connecting with leading enterprise clients, you'll help them integrate our RADAR solutions to solve real-world safety challenges without compromise on accuracy, privacy, or usability.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive top-of-funnel lead generation through outbound prospecting, targeted campaigns, and strategic networking in the automotive and AgeTech markets.
  • Build meaningful relationships with enterprise-level prospects by conducting high-impact discovery calls that identify technical challenges, business needs, and areas for value alignment.
  • Manage accounts from first contact to long-term partnership, ensuring a seamless experience across pre-sales, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing to design and execute lead generation strategies that resonate with mid-to-senior level decision-makers.
  • Research, segment, and prioritize high-potential accounts within automotive OEMs, suppliers, and AgeTech organizations to ensure focused outreach and personalized engagement.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage a healthy sales pipeline, track outreach performance, and refine conversion strategies.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value propositions by partnering with our product and engineering teams.
  • Represent Pontosense at industry events, virtual panels, and forums to build thought leadership and generate qualified inbound interest.
  • Share feedback with internal teams on industry trends, competitor positioning, and evolving customer needs to inform product and go-to-market strategy.

Note: This role requires frequent travel to Michigan, especially to support key automotive accounts. Candidates must be comfortable with regular travel.

This role reports to our
VP of Enterprise and Strategic Partnerships, Travis and will collaborate closely with our Projects Team.

  • Have a track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline and revenue goals in a B2B tech or automotive sales environment.
  • Bring experience selling complex solutions such as sensors, radar systems, or other electrical components to technical buyers.
  • Are data-driven and use CRM tools not just to track activity, but to optimize strategy.
  • Enjoy collaborating across departments
    to strengthen go-to-market efforts.
