Description:

The role of a technical representative is to support sales and development within the territory by assisting the account manager present in the province. They are tasked with supporting the client on washing and sanitation methods, training teams, and ensuring the proper use of washing and sanitation products.


Responsibilities:

As a member of the Sales Team, the Technical Representative contributes to the company’s success by:

  • Participating in assessments of potential and existing customers;
  • Supporting customer assessments during contamination events;
  • Validating existing procedures and implementing new procedures as required;
  • Helping solve sanitation problems and optimizing operational methods;
  • Participating in the development of new products and field trials;
  • Building the field test reports and communicating the results to the Marketing Department;
  • Managing the CEPS program;
  • Conducting Sani Marc training sessions ;
  • Visiting customers according to the schedule established with the Sales Director;
  • Verifying the accuracy of dosing systems.


Requirements:
  • Having any sales skills or experience is an asset;
  • Know hygiene and sanitation processes in food processing;
  • Have a desire to help customers and be a team player;
  • Be a quick learner and the ability to analyze processes to make recommendations;
  • Have a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology OR Microbiology; or sanitation supervisor in the food industry;
  • Understand GFSI benchmarks (BRC, SQF, etc.) and have experience in developing and maintaining such certifications;
