Role Overview

The Technical Representative, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) Program, plays a key role within the Belron Canada technical team. As a front-line worker at the service centers of various corporate and franchise banners, he is the technical expert in camera recalibration procedures and best practices. He supports service centers equipped with this technology and provides knowledge and assistance to technical trainers.

This role involves performing remote camera recalibrations in collaboration with service center technicians, following vehicle-specific requirements. The representative will be trained on OEM software and procedures. The position requires delivering high customer satisfaction, technical expertise, and timely resolution of issues.

This is a teleworking role with occasional travel to the head office.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as the first point of contact for technical support on ADAS camera recalibration for the network of service centers.
  2. Serve as a content expert in camera recalibration for service centers and technical trainers.
  3. Recommend solutions to facilitate camera recalibration processes.
  4. Identify recurring issues, document them, and propose solutions to supervisors.
  5. Promote best practices in camera recalibration across various vehicle types.
  6. Maintain records of incidents using the tracking system and escalate when necessary.
  7. Keep current with knowledge and skills in camera recalibration techniques.
  8. Perform remote camera recalibrations in collaboration with technicians, based on vehicle requirements.
  9. Manage and upload proof of vehicle manufacturer-specific recalibration data.

Candidate Profile

  • DEC in administration or a relevant field.
  • Three to six years of experience in customer service.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both oral and written.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work with multiple software programs, databases, and sources of information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professionalism and diplomacy.
