Experience leveraging AI, Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance engineering productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize workflows. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to integrate AI-driven solutions into their daily work — such as code generation, debugging, reviews, documentation, and decision support—to improve efficiency for themselves and their teams. A proactive approach to exploring and implementing AI tools that drive innovation and streamline development processes is highly valued.

The Technical QE Lead works across agile teams to ensure they meet functional, performance, and code standard requirements. This role requires that software engineering best practices be applied to the domain of software quality testing. Working closely with engineering managers, product owners, and other agile team members, the SDET ensures that the desired results for our services are achieved, maintained and following up to date industry standards.

What You Will Do:
  1. Defining quality testing standards and metrics for our products and projects.
  2. Continually improve our testing standards, tools and processes.
  3. Defining best practices for test coverage, automation and the general testing lifecycle.
  4. Coach and mentor the development and QA team on testing best practices.
  5. Communicating with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are agreed upon and continually reviewed.
  6. Ensure testing metrics are visible via reporting and dashboards.
  7. Ensuring all development tasks meet quality standards through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and defect tracking.
  8. Develop and ensure a strategy that favors test automation over manual testing.
  9. Maintain and expand existing automation frameworks or automation partners.
  10. Ensure proper test plan and stakeholders review process.
  11. Ensure proper coverage of various testing strategies like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, etc.
  12. Be a point of contact for all the escalations related to testing and quality assurance.
  13. Assist in creating quality assurance objectives.
  14. Work with the team to improve the CI/CD and deployment pipeline.
What You Bring To The Table:
  1. Experience leading and coaching distributed teams of SDETs.
  2. An expert in both manual and automated testing.
  3. Strong programming skills and software development best practices (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
  4. Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as Junit/testNG with Selenium, Playwright.
  5. Experience with load testing using JMeter, or similar.
Must Have Experience:
  1. 6+ years hands-on software testing and development experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of the “Test Pyramid” and testing strategies.
  3. Hands-on experience with automation and automation environment requirements.
  4. Automation testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.
  5. Web-application mobile testing and automation experience.
  6. Experience in the creation, maintenance and optimization of automation frameworks including management of test reporting.
  7. Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline.
  8. Good understanding of version control tools such as GIT.
  9. Agile team and methodology experience.
Nice-To-Have Experience:
  1. Experience in BDD/TDD.
  2. AWS code pipeline - build and deployment experience.
  3. Jira/Confluence experience.
  4. Kanban tools and processes experience.
  5. New Relic hands-on experience.
