Job description

We are seeking a Technical Projects and Solutions Lead to drive successful delivery of client-facing and internal technology projects. This role is essential in ensuring operational and technical execution aligns with project objectives and business goals. As a cross-functional leader, you will act as the counterpart to our Client Services team and collaborate closely with development leads, IT, and other internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role that requires both technical fluency and strong project execution skills. The Manager will report directly to the COO and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of solutions that are both technically sound and operationally viable.

Responsibilities

Project Management and Delivery

• Lead the technical delivery of projects involving software, data integration, document automation, and internal systems.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure on-time and high-quality outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications in collaboration with the development and IT teams.
• Oversee project tracking and documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Coordinates technical teams (e.g., developers, IT, integration) to deliver solutions, with resources allocated by CTO / Director, IT and Solutions.
• Actively contribute to client scoping and planning meeting as the lead technical participant from Octacom.
• Own the successful delivery of assigned projects from scoping through deployment, including client satisfaction, timeline adherence, and internal alignment.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Client Services to align on client needs, delivery timelines, and operational readiness.
• Act as the point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure consistency and communication across departments, including Development, IT, and Operations.

Technical and Solution Design Support

• Develop a strong understanding of Octacom’s platforms, including Odiss and supporting tools.
• Understands software architecture and implementation lifecycle.
• Can speak the language of developers and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Contribute to solution planning by identifying technical dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Participate in technical discussions to assess feasibility and recommend approaches that balance quality and efficiency.
• Escalate and resolve cross-functional blockers that impact delivery timelines, resourcing, or client outcomes.

Process Improvement and Governance

• Support the design and continuous improvement of delivery processes and standards.
• Ensure documentation and audit-readiness of all deliverables, contributing to ongoing compliance requirements.
• Champion the use of structured project management methodologies tailored to the scale and complexity of each initiative.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, solutions delivery, or systems implementation.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead technical delivery of business-critical projects.
• Experience working in software development or IT environments with an understanding of data integration, workflow automation, or document management solutions.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
