A tech company is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee cloud-native projects using AWS, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong AWS expertise, agile management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, driving project success in a dynamic environment.
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud architecture to lead and coordinate cloud-native projects from inception to delivery. You’ll act as the bridge between engineering teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring that cloud-based solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical and business objectives.
Project Leadership: Manage cloud-native development projects, emphasizing cloud stacks (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions).
Technical Oversight: Collaborate with architects and developers to define scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings, updates, and technical discussions with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
Agile Process Management: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming using tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks or blockers and implement mitigation strategies.
Resource Coordination: Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure appropriate staffing and skill alignment for project success.
Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation, architecture diagrams, and release notes.
3–5+ years of experience in technical project management roles.
Strong understanding of AWS services, especially cloud-native tools and architecture patterns.
Proven experience managing cloud-native application development projects.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Serverless Framework.
Solid grasp of modern software development life cycles (CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps).
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional).
Background in software engineering or DevOps.
Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic).
