Our Global Wealth Management Team is hiring a Technical Project Delivery Lead. This role will be part of a team responsible for Data Engineering and Reporting, serving customers across all Wealth business lines, including iTrade, Scotia McLeod, Private Investment Council, and Scotia Trust. The team is known for excellence in delivery and support of critical client-facing and back-office applications.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Project delivery Lead
- Plan and manage project deliveries of various Data Engineering initiatives and strategic projects.
- Plan and manage resource capacity.
- Coordinate release planning and deployments across environments (IST, UAT, Prod).
- Identify and mitigate risks like scope creep impacting delivery.
- Prepare documentation such as diagrams, project plans, risk logs, etc.
- Services Delivery (ITSM)
- Build, enhance, and manage ITSM dashboards using ServiceNow.
- Track and manage SLAs/SLOs for incidents, requests, and initiatives.
- Maintain process flows, runbooks, and playbooks.
- Assist with application portfolio management to ensure applications are up-to-date and risks are managed.
- Mitigate IT/SW currency risks.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance service delivery.
- Communications Management
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
- Identify and communicate impediments with solutions.
- Be proactive in addressing issues.
- Team Player
- Work with established team members, adapt to team norms and culture.
- Practice agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies.
- Engage and inspire high-performing teams.
- Collaborate with team members across regions and stakeholders.
Skills
Do you have the following skills? We’d love to work with you:
- Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years’ IT experience in technical project delivery.
- 3-5+ years’ experience in service delivery and ITSM processes.
- Experience with MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, ServiceNow, GEMS.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Project Management or PMI certification.
- Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience in wealth/financial industry.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SDLC, architecture review, change management.
