Join The Panel Shop, a division of Pennecon's Services and Maintenance Group, and contribute to a team with over 25 years of experience in designing, producing, and managing custom electrical and mechanical control solutions for various industrial sectors. As a Technical Project Coordinator, you will support client projects from initial estimating through to execution and closeout across multiple project types and industries.

What You'll Do:

Manage technical and administrative aspects of client projects, including:

  • Preparing project estimates and quotations.
  • Supporting sales and customer service efforts.
  • Coordinating project documentation, schedules, and materials.
  • Developing and reviewing CAD drawings, including electrical schematics and panel layouts.
  • Working with technicians, production teams, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Tracking project budgets, costs, and schedules.
  • Liaising with suppliers and monitoring procurement.
  • Supporting compliance with technical standards such as CSA and UL.
  • Participating in design reviews and quality assurance.
  • Performing other tasks as needed to support project success.
What We're Looking For:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical or mechanical system design and interpretation of drawings and specs.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting estimating, planning, and executing technical projects in a customer-focused environment.
