Xanadu Quantum Technologies is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for PennyLane, our industry-leading open-source software framework for quantum machine learning and quantum computing. As a Technical Product Marketing Manager at Xanadu, you will stand at the intersection of quantum physics, software engineering, and business strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical product marketing, product management, or technical developer marketing within open-source software, cloud computing, AI/ML, or deep tech.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience partnering with software engineering teams on product planning, messaging, positioning, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Inform product planning with engineering and product leadership and align roadmap with market demands.
• Define, refine, and capture core positioning and value propositions for PennyLane.
• Architect, execute, and scale multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract new developers, students, and industry scientists and generate qualified pipeline.
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and SWOT evaluations to refine messaging and defend differentiators.
• Create high-value technical assets and represent Xanadu as a technical evangelist at industry events and analyst briefings.
• Measure impact of product marketing initiatives and track platform adoption and revenue pipeline.

Xanadu Quantum Technologies is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for PennyLane, our industry-leading open-source software framework for quantum machine learning and quantum computing.

As a Technical Product Marketing Manager at Xanadu, you will stand at the intersection of quantum physics, software engineering, and business strategy. You will serve as the strategic link between technical development and commercial growth, partnering closely with engineering, product management, and business development teams to shape how developers, researchers, and enterprise R&D departments build on PennyLane. In this role, you will translate cutting-edge quantum capabilities into compelling narratives and design targeted campaigns that attract new users and drive business pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with engineering and product leadership to inform product planning, synthesize technical feedback, and align PennyLane's development roadmap with market demands.
• Define, refine, and capture core positioning and value propositions for PennyLane.
• Architect, execute, and scale multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to attract new developers, students, and industry scientists expanding market share and directly generating qualified pipeline.
• Perform ongoing competitive analysis and SWOT evaluations across the quantum software ecosystem to refine messaging, map market trends, and defend key technical differentiators.
• Build high-value technical assets—whitepapers, blogs, customer stories, and technical presentations—and represent Xanadu as a technical evangelist at industry events and analyst briefings.
• Measure and report on the impact of product marketing initiatives, tracking platform adoption, developer engagement, and campaign contribution to overall revenue pipeline.

Basic qualifications and experience:

• 5+ years in technical product marketing, product management, or technical developer marketing within open-source software, cloud computing, AI/ML, or deep tech.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with software engineering teams on product planning, messaging, positioning, and competitive analysis.
• Proven track record of designing marketing campaigns that attract new customers and drive measurable sales or adoption pipeline.
• Demonstrated experience taking technical products to market.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, impactful content and hands‑on demonstrations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional project management skills.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Background or familiarity with quantum computing concepts, PennyLane, or classical ML frameworks.
• Experience launching and scaling open-source developer tooling or enterprise deep‑tech platforms.

This is for a new position. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and internal benchmarks. The base salary range is 100,000 - 140,000 CAD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
