Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Corporate Business Technology (CBT) is seeking a Technical Product Manager Procure to Pay to support the AP Transformation program, which is part of the overall Transact initiative.

The TPM (Technical Product Manager) Procure to Pay is part of the overall Transact Program and will work at the intersection of business & technology to define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives and challenges with technology solutions, extending them into development execution, value realization, and ongoing product management. This role is responsible for leading the strategic vision, roadmap, execution, and implementation of both the interim and end-state solutions for Procure to Pay on S/4 HANA (CFIN), as part of the AP Transformation & Treasury Management project. As TPM for Procure to Pay, you will manage underlying Squads (VIM Squad, Payments Squad, and Supplier Financing Squad) and collaborate with various other Transact program streams such as I2C, TMS, A2R, Tax, MDG, Transcend (Supply Chain), and Procurement partners.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Lead design and delivery of SAP Finance solutions focusing on Procure to Pay, requiring extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and SAP FI-AP module, including integrations with SAP MM, FICO, APM, bank connectivity modules, and external providers like SWIFT and Vertex.
  2. Define business problems and translate them into value cases and comprehensive solutions covering process, technology, data, governance, and user experience, supported by key performance indicators.
  3. Stay informed on external trends and insights related to Invoice to Pay processes and technology, including SAP best practices and industry standards.
  4. Design solutions that incorporate experimentation, human-centered design, agile principles, external insights, process optimizations, and compliance.
  5. Partner with the finance architecture team to define system roles within the landscape aligned with business capabilities.
  6. Act as primary trusted advisor to senior finance and technology leaders throughout product lifecycle, from inception to continuous improvement.
  7. Partner with product management teams to ensure roadmaps align with business and technology strategies, value creation, and KPIs.
  8. Manage vendor relationships to influence development roadmaps and meet organizational needs.
  9. Demonstrate strong leadership and transparent communication within the team.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience leading technical or product teams, with emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP implementation experience within FI-AP.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable processes: Invoice Management, Payment Management, and integration with FI, MM, and TMS.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and interface design with other applications.
  • Problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication strategies and actions for problem-solving.
  • High degree of independent judgment and decision-making.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience with OpenText Invoice Management solution.
  • Experience with SWIFT integration.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable.
  • Advanced understanding of J&J I/T's technology standards and strategies.
  • Experience in healthcare and science industry.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Ideal candidates are collaborative, communicative, customer-oriented, and capable of effective internal and external partnership.

Travel: Up to 25% of the time.

US candidates:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550.
