About the Role

Hi, I’m Arjun, Director of Product at Loop. We are hiring a Technical Product Manager to lead payment infrastructure initiatives and support broader product development.

This is an onsite position at our downtown Toronto office (Adelaide and Spadina).

Responsibilities

  • Own parts of Loop’s cross-border payments roadmap, scaling features and introducing new solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering on technical architecture.
  • Coordinate with compliance, operations, payments, and finance to meet regulatory and security standards.
  • Stay informed on the payments landscape to guide product decisions.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and support data-driven decisions.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Conduct QA and testing of payment features.
  • Gather feedback to improve products.
  • Lead sprints, prioritizing tasks with engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in product management, technical projects, or software engineering, preferably in fintech or startups.
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or relevant experience in payments or financial infrastructure.
  • Strong technical understanding—comfortable with system design, APIs, and tradeoffs.
  • Experience writing product requirements and collaborating with technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a bias for action in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, SQL, and data analytics platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in fintech, banking, or payments processing.
  • Knowledge of payment systems (SWIFT, ACH, RTP, SEPA) or card networks.
  • Experience with compliance-heavy products.
  • API design and integration knowledge.
  • Experience in startups or small teams.
