Technical Producer/Technical Project Manager (Gaming)

Base pay range

CA$45.00/hr - CA$60.00/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Support Engineering leads and facilitate engineering team meetings: daily standups, planning meetings, retrospectives, etc.
  • Motivate and assist engineering teams to execute on time and at a high quality level on priority items.
  • Manage dependencies and stakeholders from other parts of the game team.
  • Milestone planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Proactive risk management and mitigation.
  • Create, update, and present status reports to team and leadership.
  • Identify processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of project management, game production, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of technical experience, writing code or equivalent.
  • In-person presence in Vancouver BC office three days a week.
Nice to have:
  • Experience working in a central team servicing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity, proprietary engines) and/or infrastructure teams (Builds, Tools, Automation, Systems, Rendering).
  • Experience with various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
