This position supports the United States and Canada customer base. Our team operates across four time zones, with work shifts assigned based on business needs between 8 am - 8 pm ET. This role specifically covers the Eastern Time Zone shift (8-5 ET).
As an Online Technical Support Engineer, you will provide remote post-sales technical support and services to external customers and internal field personnel using diagnostic tools. Your responsibilities include reactive problem resolution, proactive preventive actions, and assisting customers with Gas Chromatography (GC), Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectroscopy (GC/MS), and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy (ICPMS). Experience with GC/SQ and GC/QQQ is required; familiarity with GC/QTOF and ICPMS is a plus or may require future training.
Your duties include in-depth technical support, remote troubleshooting, consulting, and education via phone, chat, and online platforms. Occasional support for third-party products and site visits may be required, along with occasional travel for training.
You will also engage with customers to identify additional sales opportunities and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
The salary range in Canada is CAD 78,000 to CAD 122,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, stock options, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. The full-time schedule includes options for remote work.
