Job description

About Arc Compute

Arc Compute designs and deploys software-defined, 100% GPU-enabled AI infrastructure. We deliver modular 1–5MW facility buildouts and turnkey GPU clusters (8–64 nodes), deployed globally and engineered for sustained performance and scale. Our team manages the full lifecycle –architecture, hardware procurement, deployment, software-defined orchestration, and continuous optimization. We work with data centers, enterprises, institutions, and Series A–E companies reducing cloud GPU spend and building dedicated AI infrastructure.

The Role

We are hiring a Technical Operations Representative to oversee managed services and support technical sales for Arc Compute’s turnkey GPU infrastructure. This role is split roughly 50/50 between operational oversight of our outsourced managed services team and hands‑on technical sales engineering. It’s a hybrid position, part infrastructure steward, part technical advisor to prospects and customers. You’re not doing the day‑to‑day support yourself. You’re ensuring the team that is does it right, and you’re the technical voice when Arc Compute walks into a prospect’s room to explain why their infrastructure should be GPU‑native, not cloud‑leased.

What You’ll Do
Managed Services Oversight
  • Act as the technical lens on outsourced managed service provider; review tickets, escalations, and incident reports.
  • Monitor SLA compliance and service quality; flag gaps, push back on inadequate fixes, elevate when needed.
  • Coordinate with the MSP on capacity planning, patching schedules, and infrastructure health reviews.
  • Maintain and evolve internal runbooks and SOPs so the managed services team has clear, accurate guidance.
  • Conduct regular reviews of system performance, uptime, and incident trends — and drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the bridge between Arc Compute’s engineering team and the outsourced operations provider.
Technical Sales Engineering
  • Support the sales team on technical deep‑dives with prospective clients evaluating GPU infrastructure.
  • Lead architecture discussions – workload mapping, cluster sizing, capacity calculations, GPU topology.
  • Present technical overviews of Arc Compute’s turnkey offerings (1–5MW builds, 8–64 node clusters).
  • Compare TCO and ROI of dedicated GPU infrastructure vs. cloud GPU providers.
  • Write technical sections of proposals and response documents.
  • Walk prospects through cluster designs, orchestration stacks, and deployment timelines.
  • Participate in discovery calls and technical validation sessions.
Core Requirements
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working with production infrastructure or technical‑facing roles.
  • Comfortable serving as a technical authority in customer‑facing conversations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset – able to diagnose issues and drive resolutions even when you’re not the one turning the screw.
  • Excellent communication skills – you can explain complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Organized and proactive – you can manage both operational oversight and sales support without things slipping.
Technical Experience
  • GPU environments or HPC exposure (strong plus).
  • Experience managing or coordinating with external service providers / MSPs (plus).
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Equivalent hands‑on experience in infrastructure, systems, or technical sales will also be considered.
Profile
  • Technical but communicative – comfortable in both infrastructure review and client‑facing discussions.
  • Execution‑oriented with an eye for quality and process.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑moving, evolving environments.
  • Able to switch between operational oversight and sales support seamlessly.
Seniority

3+ years of relevant experience working with production systems, infrastructure, or technical‑facing roles. Experience with production infrastructure is required.
