A financial services group is seeking a Technical Murex Configuration Analyst for its Montreal office. The role involves participating in configurations and testing of Murex software solutions, contributing to modernization projects, and providing user support. The Capital Markets roadmap aims to support the growth of the Capital Markets team through critical technological and operational investments that will enable it to achieve its business ambitions. The goal of this modernization is to invest in processes, technology and data. The technological component will significantly enhance application ecosystems, including solutions for transactions, analytics, business intelligence, data distribution and customer relationship management (CRM). As part of the modernization, we’re hiring many experts to help us build Murex expertise at Desjardins. More specifically, as a technical Murex configuration analyst, you’ll be required to:
Participate in functional configurations, verifications and tests for solution implementation in the Murex software (workflow, confirmations, datamart reports, pricing templates, simulation views)
Actively contribute to modernization projects on the Murex financial software package (analysis, configuration and development) based on the business needs gathered from the front-, middle- and back-office sectors
Document and share the work with the team
Develop scripts around Murex (control, integration) if needed
Actively contribute to team meetings and provide areas for improvement
Carry out unit and integrated testing and support users during acceptance testing
Support users during rollouts, including demonstration, training and change management activities
Comply with the standards in effect for all activities in the delivery cycle (from analysis to rollout).

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience developing workflows (Business, Exchange)
Experience with MxTest
Experience with the MarkitWire electronic matching platform
Experience with the XVA module
Knowledge of French is required
Knowledge of the Unix and Python languages to develop scripts is a plus
Knowledge of SQL and the Murex data model
Knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, cash products
Significant expertise with Murex or any other equivalent financial software package
Workflow development expertise in Murex (design, dev, contract workflow, exchange, pre-trade, post-trade, etc.)
Expertise in the portfolio management or brokerage sector
