Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception through design and deployment, including upgrading facilities, building mobiles and travel packages, and creating temporary systems for shows.
• Gather project requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Design detailed broadcast systems for remote production, fixed facilities, and transmission systems.
• Recommend and procure technical equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and vendors for technical support.
• Create documentation and drawings for technical solutions.
• Lead deployment of technology and resources to meet operational demands.
• Participate in equipment and facility planning and acquisition.
• Manage budgets and promote best practices for facility operations.
• Stay updated on industry and technological advances.

Critical Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree with five years’ experience in relevant fields.
• Understanding of television media production, signal systems, fibre, and IP networking.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, proficient in MS Office and Visio.
• Effective conflict resolution skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Knowledge of broadcast equipment and standards like SMPTE 2110, SDI, HDR, SRT, Dante is preferred.

Work Conditions

• Travel and weekend work as required.
