We have created a role for a Technical Manager, Automotive and Industrial with a passion for open source and precision engineering. Canonical provides secure and reliable products to industrial and automotive partners, bridging open-source innovation with industry-specific requirements, including certification processes. Our goal is to enable industries such as automotive to leverage our open source portfolio, supporting from factory to cloud, and ensuring security and advanced platforms for automotive innovation.
Your role involves leading a team of dedicated engineers to adapt our products to automotive and industrial requirements. You will represent Canonical and Ubuntu in relevant community and standards consortia, ensuring our Linux distribution and products support standards like IEC 61508, ISO9001, ISO 21434, UNECE R155 & R156, ISO26262 ASIL, and ASPICE. You will also focus on enhancing delivery quality, security, and developer experience, leading strategy and execution, and working closely with the Vice President of Engineering Excellence and the Automotive Product Manager.
